What Does State Supreme Court Ruling Mean for Sedona?

If you lived in a beautiful place like Sedona AZ, would you be interested in renting out your house or a room for a weekend? There are people who certainly would.

In 1995 the Sedona City Council passed an ordinance forbidding rentals for less than 30 days. This prevents people from renting out rooms or their home to travelers wanting to experience the beauty of Sedona but not stay in a hotel or resort.

Sinagua Indian Ruins Near Sedona

One of my interests around the area of Sedona are the ancient ruins. I wonder what the people there thought and felt. What was their daily life like? Sure, there are archeologists who make educated guesses about what life then was like. The can't, however, get into the mind and hearts of the people. They can only tell us about actions.

Forest Service seeking Sedona-area trail builder

I dont' know why someone was "cutting" their own trail. One of the comments to this article implies it might be an individual wanting to plant a marijuana farm. Perhaps so. Us "ordinary folks," as in those without training, don't realize how fragile the eco system is.
